Armed weekends

From the time I was a girl of 15 till I was18, my brother served in the military. He would come home on weekends with his gun. It was completely normal for him to bring the gun home and for there to be a gun in the house for as long as he was home. It was with him, in his room, I’m not even sure where, or whether it was locked up…
